Sold!

These 2 super nice EV enthusiasts drove out from the Seattle area to take this little EV home.

Now I can get started on the next one... I guess I'm hooked!

Fender repair

The fender is back on with the dents pounded out and the rough edge patched up. It isn't perfect, but looks a lot better. A heck of a lot cheaper than a professional repair at $200-300. Now its ready for paint.

For Sale

This is a great car and I'ld like to build another one.

I've only got a few things left to finish:

  • Front fender
  • Back hatch latch
  • Paint (rust spots and fender)
  • Fix the horn

Sand, Bondo, Prime

There were only 5 small rust spots only one was all the way through. Zach helped wash and wax the rest of it. Then the sun came out and it looks pretty good!

Vacuum Tank

A plastic tee from the pump to the tank and master cylinder.

A PVC tank 3 inches by 10 inches tucked in next to the batteries. It gave about 3 and a half brakes before the vacuum was gone. The little Brake Booster (cheap) vacuum pump from ebay reached vacuum in about a minute, maybe a little more. The total on parts for the brake system about $160.
